Professional Journey

Since 2012, I have served as the Principal at Cascadia Sage Services, where I focus on enhancing people service and systems. My role as the People Service & Systems Champion at SkillStat Learning Inc., which began in 2018, complements my extensive experience in educational and operational leadership roles across various organizations.

Public Speaking and Leadership

My journey with Toastmasters International has been a transformative part of my life. Since 2008, I have held numerous executive positions including President and VP of Education at Harbour City Toastmasters, Division C Director for District 21, and mentor and coach at multiple clubs. These roles have allowed me to design and conduct numerous workshops focusing on speech writing, effective evaluations, and the use of body language and vocal variety.

I have also extended my expertise to the community through Nanaimo Foodshare and Nanaimo Youth Services Association, facilitating public speaking workshops aimed at helping individuals find their voice and express themselves confidently.

Personal Insight

I believe in the power of speech to not only communicate ideas but also to connect with others and lead change. Whether through youth workshops or professional training sessions, I am dedicated to helping individuals realize their potential and improve their communication skills.
